Your monthly price buys the API, the AI, and the booking infrastructure — discovery, availability, scheduling, video rooms, records and webhooks. It does not pre-buy anyone's time. Human-delivered services are charged when they are used, so you are never paying for sessions nobody books.

Of the ₹45,000 in session fees, roughly 15% is the BetterSpace platform commission and the remainder is settled to the therapists. Nothing is charged for a session that is not booked.
15 pooled interactions per covered life per month. One interaction = one user message + one Rooh response. Safety checks and retrieval steps are on us and are never counted.
The pool is organisation-wide, not per employee — a heavy user and a light user balance out, so you are not policing individual message counts. Past the pool, service continues at ₹400 per 1,000 and we warn you at 70 / 80 / 90% first.
What is a covered life?
A person on your company roster you are paying for.
Is the API different on cheaper plans?
No. Every paid plan has the same API. You only pick how many people you cover.
Are therapy sessions in the monthly price?
No. The subscription covers therapist discovery, availability, booking, video rooms and records — the infrastructure. The session fee itself is the therapist's own rate and is debited from your wallet only when a booking is confirmed. BetterSpace keeps a 15% platform commission on it; the rest goes to the therapist.
How do I know what a session will cost before booking?
Call GET /v1/bookings/quote (or the bookingQuote field in Prism). It is free, never charged, and works even at a zero wallet balance, so you can always show your user the exact price first.
Who actually pays for a session — us or the employee?
That is your decision. BetterSpace always debits your company wallet. Whether you absorb it as a benefit, split it, or collect from the employee in your own app before booking is entirely up to how you build it.
Are workshops or manager training included?
No. Those are facilitator-led services rather than API calls, so they are scoped and quoted per engagement and invoiced separately. Listing upcoming live classes is included in the API; running a private workshop for your organisation is not.
Are sleep consultations priced like therapy sessions?
They are billed the same way — from your wallet, per booking — but sleep consultants set their own separate rate, so always use the quote endpoint rather than assuming the therapy price.
What if we cancel a booking?
Cancel before the session start time and your wallet is refunded in full. Cancelling is free and works at a zero balance, so you can always recover funds. No refund once the session has started.
What happens after the trial?
We take the monthly amount from your wallet. Sandbox keys stay free and unlimited.
